CareLearning.com Webinars
An exciting option for educational programming
|
 |
Blend the convenience of teleconferencing with the visual power and
resources of the Internet.
E-learning is becoming the method of choice for many busy health care
professionals. CareLearning.com has expanded its e-learning technology
to include Webinars.
- Webinars are like any other telephone conference calls but include
access to the presenter's visual materials (slides, graphs, pictures)
simultaneously through the Internet.
- Questions for the speaker may be asked by your moderator via e-mail
or the telephone.
- Webinars provide an excellent opportunity to train staff without the
cost of travel. The hospital pays the connection fee and an unlimited
number of people may attend the training. The price is quoted "per
telephone connection."
- The length of these sessions is relatively short (one-two hours)
which allows for minimal time away from work.
- Most Webinars offer continuing education.
To participate, a hospital needs:
- A room large enough to accommodate all participants. The number of
participants is limited only be the size of the room.
- An Internet connection in the room with a computer and
projector.
- A telephone connection in the room with a speaker system so everyone
can hear the presentation through the speaker phone.
