Price Transparency
The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH)
offers hospital price and quality reporting in its OK2SHARE portal.
To access this information, go to www.health.state.ok.us/stats/and accept the Appropriate Use Agreement
for Internet Databases.
Then, under "Queries" on
the left side of the page, select "Hospital & ASC," then "Quality
Reports (MONAHRQ)."
Use the Hospital
Utilization section to find the median total charge and length of
stay for a given service at a hospital, with comparisons to Oklahoma and
U.S. medians. The service can be selected by:
- Major Diagnostic Category (MDC)
- Diagnosis Related Group (DRG)
- Condition
- Procedure
Use the Hospital
Quality Ratings section to report on quality ratings by health topic
for the hospital you select.
