Working to find solutions to the health care workforce shortage

Because the health care workforce shortage is not something hospitals can solve alone, OHA has been working with a number of statewide partners since 2001 to recruit new workers into health care while retaining valuable workers and ensuring that Oklahoma’s education and training resources are adequate to meet our needs for more workers.

The www.okhealthcareers.com Web site is maintained by OHA to assist middle and high school students, teachers and counselors in exploring health care career options. More then 50 Oklahoma hospitals are now posting job openings online at www.okhealthjobs.com, a member-exclusive health care job posting site launched in 2003. Job seekers have the ability to post their resume at no charge for hospital subscribers to access.
