System,one of the most significant
developments to come from careLearning, at no cost The AMS is a
four-part state-of-the-art record tracking system.
- Human Resources
Database: The AMS allows users to input demographical data on
each employee. The data includes: department, home address and phone
number, and e-mail address. Having all of this information in one
location is convenient and time saving.
- Educational Registration
Software: AMS has the capability to enter educational events
that were being held within organizations. The "Events" module of the
system allows users to register employees and non-employees in live
educational events. Each live event that an employee completes is
automatically placed in their education record.
- Professional Licensure and
Certification Tracking: AMS has the ability to track licenses
and certifications. The "TrackIt" module allows users to track any
renewable or annual requirements (i.e. nursing licenses, CPR
certifications and TB skin tests) ; print reports of individuals that
have required renewals sorted by month and year ; and print reports that
allow the system administrator to see when everyone with that
requirement is due for renewal These are automatically added to the
employee's education record, which allows the system administrator to
print out an employee's record during a survey (JCAHO).
- Education Record-Keeping
System: The AMS can run reports regarding the progress of those
registered in careLearning.com courses. It also has other
educational tracking abilities including:
- Reports that could be sorted
by individual, department, job category or renewal date (i.e. birth date
or anniversary date)
- Reports that list only the
courses an employee has not completed
- Reports that show only
careLearning.com courses
- Reports that include the
courses registered through the "Events" module and information from the
"TrackIt" module, as well as careLearning.com courses
The AMS is a time-saving tool for
hospitals and health systems across the country. One of the greatest
benefits of this system is that is comes free of charge with the Health
and Safety Compliance series subscription.
