Physician Recruitment
OHA launched www.OKPhysicianJobs.com in 2009 in an effort to assist members, particularly small
rural hospitals, with their physician recruitment needs. The website is
just one of several efforts OHA engages in to encourage our Oklahoma
medical students and residents to stay in or return to
Oklahoma.
OKPhysicianJobs.com uses the powerful and
well-known PracticeMatch database service to link physicians seeking
practice opportunities in Oklahoma with subscriber hospitals.
PracticeMatch is a nationwide physician position database widely used by
in-house physician recruiters and physician candidates – www.practicematch.com.
PracticeMatch partners with OHA in helping hospitals with up to 125
beds that could not normally afford to use their service. Many
larger hospitals in Oklahoma are already PracticeMatch clients and
therefore their positions are also included on OKPhysicianJobs.com.
Through PracticeMatch, OHA is able to identify likely candidates and
send them opportunities through e-mail and direct mail. This adds up to
a unique and powerful database of Oklahoma opportunities designed to
keep and bring back Oklahoma medical residents and student to practice
in our state.
Through OKPhyscianJobs.com, candidates search
positions available from hospital subscribers and find valuable
information about Oklahoma’s quality of life, practice resources,
and many helpful links. OKPhysicianJobs.com subscriptions are available
to OHA member hospitals only. Subscription
includes one PracticeMatch job listing at a time and a full page in the
OKPhysicianJobs Resource Guide to be distributed to medical residents
and students in Oklahoma. Additional listings and other a la carte
services are available for additional fees. Hospitals with more than 125
beds that are existing PracticeMatch clients may also subscribe to
OKPhysicianJobs.com to have all of their listings visible through the
website.
