In January 2003, the OHA board of trustees approved a proposal to
begin a preferred vendor program in partnership with HealthShare, a
subsidiary of the Texas Hospital Association. HealthShare provides OHA
with the same process used in Texas for vendors who seek a preferred
vendor agreement. This includes a referral system, as well as an
evaluation system.
The OHA Preferred Savings Network is a preferred vendor network for
Oklahoma Hospital Association member hospitals. Organizations that use
Preferred Savings Network companies benefit from significant cost and
time savings, while being assured of continuous quality monitoring.
Using these companies will save you:
Money — Enjoy the combined buying power of
more than 128 hospitals through negotiated discounts on products and
services
Time — Minimize the time-consuming process of
comparing companies and services as well as negotiating contracts. Save
valuable time by taking advantage of the research and due diligence
performed on your behalf.
Using these companies will provide you:
Quality — Ongoing performance reviews are
performed to continually monitor the quality and value of services and
products for members.
Powerful Partnerships — Benefit from increased
buying power and leverage with vendors, as well as a higher level of
customer service and attention to your unique needs.
Diverse Companies and Services — Companies in
the OHA Preferred Savings Network fall into several categories:
- Cost Containment
