The Oklahoma Stroke Coordinator’s Consortium is a group that was established for the purpose of advancing acute stroke management in Oklahoma through the standardization of evidenced-based care.
Their mission is to establish a network for mutual and professional support and collaboration among clinicians providing stroke care, provide opportunities to share information and resources related to stroke program development and proficiency across the continuum of care and to promote quality and standardization of acute stroke care through the use of evidence-based practice guidelines.
The very active, resourceful group is made up of clinicians from across Oklahoma. The participants range from Joint Commission Accredited Stroke Centers to small rural hospitals, all working together to improve stroke care in Oklahoma.
They meet on the third Wednesday of every month from 1 to 3 pm at the American Heart Association, 5700 N. Portland, Suite 103, in Oklahoma City. Anyone is welcome. Contact LeighAnn Morrill at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending.
