Federal Poverty Guidelines updated for 2017

The 2017 Federal Poverty Guidelines were published in the Jan. 31 edition of the Federal Register. The guidelines affect who can qualify for Medicaid, and are used by many hospitals as a factor in eligibility for charity care or discounted care.

For families/households with more than 8 persons,
add $4,180 for each additional person.
