Oklahoma hospitals named to Most Wired list

Posted on: 7/12/17

The nation’s “Most Wired” hospitals are using smart phones, telehealth and remote monitoring to make it easier for patients and health care providers to interact, according to results from the 19th annual Health Care’s Most Wired survey, released this week by the AHA’s Health Forum subsidiary. Hospitals also have increased their use of sophisticated information technology monitoring systems to detect patient privacy breaches and monitor for malicious activities, and are investing in analytics to support new care delivery models and effective decision-making.

Duncan Regional Hospital, Stillwater Medical Center, St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City, Bone & Joint Hospital at St. Anthony, St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital, and St. John Health System, were all named to the 2017 Most Wired list. In addition, Oklahoma Heart Hospital and Oklahoma Heart Hospital South were named to the Most Improved list for 2017.
