Oklahoma opioid prescribing tools and resources now available

The 2017 Oklahoma Opioid Prescribing Guidelines were finalized earlier this year and the health department has developed several resources and tools for clinicians related to them. These include a pocket guide, clinical reminders postcard, fact sheets that provide concise information for providers related to alternatives to opioids, clinical reminders for pain treatment, morphine milligram equivalent calculations, tapering of opioids, and more.
