Fifteen receive wound management scholarships through HIIN

The OHA awarded 15 scholarships for the Skin and Wound Management Course by the Wound Care Education Institute® (WCEI) funded through HIIN (Hospital Improvement Innovation Network). This course is for health care professionals (RN, LPN, APRN, MD, DO, DPM, PT, PTA, OT, OTA) to advance their wound care knowledge and demonstrate competency in the specialty of skin and wound care management.
The Skin and Wound Management Course is a five-day onsite course, which will be held June 25-29, offering an evidence-based approach to wound management. Included in the course is the Wound Care Certification (WCC) examination by National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy®.
