Choose your 2018 OHA Spirit Award recipient now

The OHA Spirit Award is given annually to exceptional individuals in the hospital community whose exemplary leadership and dedication have significantly enhanced patient care, their organizations or their communities. Each year, a different theme is emphasized. For 2018, the award is the Spirit of Passion and Dedication. Awards will be presented at the OHA Annual Convention on Thursday, Dec. 6. Each hospital is asked to submit one recipient to receive the Spirit of Passion and Dedication Award. Criteria and the submission form are now available at www.okoha.com/spiritawards.

A major element that ensures the successful accomplishment of a hospital’s mission is the passionate commitment and dedication of its staff. Often it begins with a passion for helping others. Team members who are unwavering in their dedication to providing the very best service to benefit their organization’s patients are the bedrock of our health care organizations. When faced with unsettling challenges, whether personal, organizational or within the health field overall, such individuals remain steadfast in their efforts to perform their job in the very best manner for the community they serve each and every day.

These employees remain committed to the true mission and purpose of their hospital to provide compassionate and high quality care, often going above and beyond what is required, but always with the dedication and passion that originally attracted them to their work.

Submission forms and photos must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 28. To submit an employee as your award recipient, go to www.okoha.com/spiritawards.
