Price transparency subject of Oct. 29 OHA call

Hospitals are confused about the new CMS hospital price transparency rule. This is understandable, because the rule is not as clear as most would like. Rick Snyder, OHA vice president of finance and information services, will host a conference call at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, to discuss the requirements that are effective Jan. 1, 2019. OHA will share the latest updates from CMS on this rule and participants can compare notes on how their hospitals are planning to comply.
