Managed Care and SoonerSelect Boot Camp set for Aug. 16

With the continued growth of managed care in Oklahoma and the conversion of the state’s Medicaid system to a managed care model, OHA is hosting a Managed Care Boot Camp to educate and prepare the membership for this continued change in the marketplace. Save the date for a one-day event on Wednesday, Aug. 16.

OHA will kick off the Bootcamp with a presentation by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority outlining the RFP awards and the regulatory approach the Authority will use going forward. Additionally, OHA has assembled a team of consultants and experts to assist the membership in examining their operations and contract evaluation process. Our consultants include: LS Point, LLC, creators of the ACR model OHA developed; PYA, a national consulting/accounting/advisory firm that supports hospital associations and their approaches to managed care and compliance; AHA Vitality Index, a software tool that empowers hospitals with contracting and benchmarking data; and Jarrard, a strategic communications firm specializing in brand, reputation protection, and crisis communications that assists hospitals and health systems during high-stakes moments of change, challenge and opportunity.  

We hope you will send your managed care contracting and finance leaders to this Boot Camp, which is designed to strengthen your understanding of managed care and how it will impact and influence the delivery of Medicaid in Oklahoma.
