SoonerSelect contracts awarded

Yesterday, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) announced the selection of contracted entities for SoonerSelect, Medicaid managed care. View the OHCA announcement here. The selected contracted entities serving the medical plans are Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma, Humana Healthy Horizons of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Complete Health. The selected contracted entity serving the children's specialty program is Oklahoma Complete Health.

We look forward to working with OHCA and the awardees as the program is rolled out and we will keep you apprised as more information becomes available.

OHA is committed to improving the overall health of our state and believes this innovative model, which we helped develop, will provide a transformational opportunity to improve health and healthcare in Oklahoma, both in our rural and urban communities. OHA will continue to share information with the membership as the process unfolds.

In an effort to prepare and educate members on the transition to managed Medicaid, OHA is developing a managed care Boot Camp to update hospitals on the managed care roll out. Once the agenda and presenters are set, we will share the information with the membership.
