Description:

This webinar will discuss the changes CMS made to the infection control standards as well as the interpretive guidelines. Attendees will learn how hospitals can comply with the regulation, including verifying qualifications of the infection preventionist, having a hospital-wide antibiotic stewardship program, and following nationally recognized infection control standards. The Joint Commission standards on the Antibiotic Stewardship Program will be discussed briefly.
