Description:

Every health care organization should have a workplace violence prevention plan in place to help avoid a tragic event. A workplace violence prevention plan must address more than the active shooter or external threats. It should address domestic violence and bullying as well. This program discusses the unique characteristics of workplace violence in health care, including who is at risk, the effects of violence, and risk factors and warning signs related to workplace violence.
