**(The date was changed from Feb. 22.)** This presentation is designed to help understand the measure definition for HIIN CMS ADE 1c-Opioid Use and what hospitals can do about improving the measure, as well as, what hospitals can do in the community to help with the overall opioid crisis. Learning Objectives 1) Identify the numerator and denominator of the ADE-1c-Opioid as defined in the CMS guidelines. 2) List two things hospitals can do to help decrease Narcan/Naloxone usage. 3) Describe the basics of the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.
