Description:

This webinar focuses on establishing interdisciplinary teams to create and run simulations to test disaster preparedness with respect to scenarios testing the ability of the hospital to respond to transfusion emergencies. Focus on proper patient identification and product tracking, rapid dispensing, minimizing waste and managing a limited inventory will be addressed. The importance of having cross disciplinary teams and including both the blood provider and transfusion service in department wide simulations will be addressed. National resources for simulation planning will be shared.

The registration fee, less a service charge stated in each brochure, is refundable if notice is received five (5) business days prior to the program. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than five business days prior to the beginning of the program.

Substitutions and Transfers:
