The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is the health care industry's membership organization exclusively focused on providing global leadership for the optimal use of health care information technology (IT) and management systems for the betterment of health care. Founded in 1961 with offices in Chicago, Washington D.C., Brussels, Singapore and other locations across the United States, HIMSS represents more than 23,000 individual members and over 380 corporate members that collectively represent organizations employing millions of people. HIMSS frames and leads healthcare public policy and industry practices through its advocacy, educational and professional development initiatives designed to promote information and management systems’ contributions to ensuring quality patient care.

Individual Membership Dues

• Regular Member - $140.00
• Chapter Local Service Only Member - $30.00
• Full-time Student Membership - $30.00

HIMSS dues are nontransferable and nonrefundable. HIMSS membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes. Organizational Affiliate Program

The HIMSS Organizational Affiliate program is a new comprehensive and exclusive offering for health care providers.
