Advancing Tobacco Treatment

Oklahoma Hospital Tobacco Cessation Systems Program

Hospitals Helping Patients Quit, a grant program of TSET and initiative of the OHA, supports Oklahoma hospitals in leading a culture of health improvement in their communities through reducing illness, disability and death due to tobacco use. Through consultation and education, the program assists hospital administrative and clinical staff to implement evidence-based brief interventions with inpatients to help them stop tobacco use.

This initiative is funded by the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust with support from the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

For more information on this initiative, contact Kelly Willingham, kwillingham@okoha.com, or Hayley Warren, hayley@okoha.com, (405) 427-9537.
