Plan now to attend the 100th OHA Convention & Trade Show, Nov. 13-15
Posted on: 8/16/19
“A Century of Care” is the theme chosen for OHA’s 100th Convention. This year’s convention will be the grand finale of our 100th Anniversary celebrations. We will celebrate our past and those who have stayed true to our mission while leading us in transforming health care in Oklahoma. We will look to the future as we step into a new century.
Our keynote speaker will be
Jon Meacham, renowned presidential historian, contributing writer to The New York Times Book Review, contributing editor at TIME, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. His presentation, “The Soul of America” examines the present moment in American politics and life by looking back at critical times in U.S. history when hope overcame division and fear.
General Session speakers include:
Kostya Kimlat, “Think Like a Magician”
Tom Morris, “True Success: Achievement in Times of Change”
Britt Berrett, PhD, FACHE, “Patients Come Second: Leading Change by Changing How You Lead”
The three-hour ACHE face-to-face education session titled “What is the Current State of Innovation in Health Care and What is to Come” will be presented by
Leslie Wainwright, PhD.
The 100th Anniversary Gala will be held at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, with entertainment by
Souled Out. This will be a special evening you won’t want to miss.
