Collective EDie initiative launched to offer care collaboration across EDs
Posted on: 3/15/19
OHA is working with Collective Medical, an OHA Preferred Partner Network vendor, to launch an exciting care collaboration initiative. The initiative will benefit patients and OHA members across Oklahoma through improved emergency department (ED) utilization, reduced readmissions, enhanced workplace safety, a positive impact on the opioid crisis, and improved overall care collaboration. The initiative was reviewed and endorsed by the OHA board of directors on Feb. 21.
Collective Medical operates one of the nation’s largest real time, care collaboration networks. They start by connecting hospital EDs across broad geographies to enable real-time identification and highlighting of complex, high use, high risk ED patients, at the point of care, and across health systems and disparate EHR environments. Collective’s network spans 22 states and they work closely with multiple hospital and medical associations across the country. Collective’s EDie service is endorsed by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a clinical best practice.
OHA has worked with Collective to lay out a broad adoption plan across Oklahoma in 2019, and offer a no-cost period until April 1, 2020. The plan includes a series of webinars and on-site meetings to help your health system better understand the Collective EDie initiative. Presentation content will be similar in each session and OHA members are invited to attend any of these sessions. Please see the options below and select the session(s) that work best for you and your team.
