Healthy Workforce Breakfast to spotlight need for clean indoor air law

A healthy workforce is vital for long-term business growth and competitiveness. Despite a recent decline in rates, smoking remains Oklahoma’s leading cause of preventable disease and death, killing 7,500 Oklahomans each year. Due to lack of smoke free indoor air laws, many Oklahomans are still forced to spend their working hours in smoking environments.

The Oklahoma Hospital Association and numerous partners across the state invite you to the Healthy Workforce Breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Tower Theater in Oklahoma City to learn how a small change in Oklahoma’s indoor air laws would benefit Oklahoma businesses and the health of their workers.
