Moment of silence to honor health care heroes during National Hospital Week

SSM Health has invited organizations to join them in honoring our health care workers, first responders, essential workers and all those who’ve been impacted by the pandemic during National Hospital and Health Care Week next week. As our communities and nation continue to make progress in the fight against COVID-19, SSM is asking local municipalities, the business community, friends and neighbors to take part in a “moment of silence” at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 10.

Frontline caregivers, first responders and essential workers in every corner of our communities have risen as heroes, putting aside their own personal concerns to support us during this pandemic. This Moment of Silence is something simple we can all do to demonstrate strength and unity during a time when many of us have felt helpless.
