Emergency Room data requirement to be covered in OHA webinar

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is requiring all hospitals to submit monthly files detailing emergency department visits, effective Jan. 1, 2020. In addition, OSDH will require quarterly, rather than annual, submission by hospitals of files of inpatient discharges and outpatient surgeries.

OHA and the Hospital Industry Data Institute (HIDI) will offer a webinar twice in December with details of the new health department rule. Hospitals will also learn how OHA Data Solutions can support them in meeting this requirement, and other benefits of participation.

The one-hour webinar is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. or Tuesday, Dec. 10, 3 p.m.
