House interim studies scheduled

OHA staff is monitoring the following studies on behalf of our members and will participate in several as indicated below:
9 a.m., Oct. 14 – Senate Health and Human Services Committee will hear Sen. Hicks study on prescription medication costs, followed by (1) a study on improving health outcomes through pharmacy practice; (2) a study on medication assisted treatment for addiction; (3) a study on state services available to children with Type 1 Diabetes.
8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., Oct. 15 – Room 432A, House Health Services & Long Term Care will be hosting multiple studies regarding mental health and children.
1 p.m., Oct. 23 – Room 535, General Government Committee, Sen. Standridge, hospital districts.
9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Oct. 28 – House Insurance Committee, Rep. Chris Sneed and Tammy Townley, surprise billing (OHA will be presenting).
1:30 – 4 p.m., Oct. 28 – House Insurance Committee, Rep. Chris Sneed and Tammy Townley, rural health care (OHA will be presenting).
