SoonerCare extends telemedicine policies and reimbursement

On July 29, OHA was notified by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) that as a result of HHS Secretary Azar extending the public health emergency, the agency has extended hospital’s telehealth flexibilities through Oct. 31. The OHCA posted on their website a global message for all providers. Please note that various policies have been extended for telehealth delivery to SoonerCare members, such as well child visits, dental, and OT/PT, so check the OHCA website for the latest information.
