Campaign to stop managed care continues with community meetings

The Oklahomans Caring for Oklahomans coalition (www.oklacares.org), of which OHA is a part, will be conducting community meetings in strategic cities across the state in October. The purpose is to educate key community leaders about the negative impact outsourcing Medicaid to managed care insurance companies would have on our state. 

Meetings will be hosted by local health care providers and will be held in Clinton, Woodward, Lawton, Durant, McAlester, Tahlequah, Pryor, and Enid. The community meetings are by invitation, so if you are in or near one of these communities and would like to attend, please contact [email protected] or [email protected] and we will pass on your information to the local host.
