OHA recently recognized Wagoner Community Hospital for prioritizing a culture that best supports employee wellbeing. The hospital utilizes the OHA’s WorkHealthy Hospitals (WHH) resource to assess 11 different dimensions of wellness and improve their wellbeing initiatives. WHH, a grant program of TSET and an initiative of the OHA, helps Oklahoma hospitals take a comprehensive and sustainable approach to creating an environment where their employees can holistically thrive.

Wagoner Community Hospital completed a WHH assessment for their hospital that provides a comprehensive view of the policies, benefits, and environment offered to hospital employees. Based on the assessment findings, they received tailored recommendations for their hospital and will work to implement evidence-based improvements and system change strategies. Wagoner Community Hospital received platinum in the Workplace Health and Safety dimension of the assessment.

The WHH initiative currently serves 38 Oklahoma hospitals spanning 29 counties and impacting more than 27,000 employees. For information on WHH, contact Meagan Carter, [email protected].
