OHA Members visit Capitol Hill

Representatives from the Oklahoma Hospital Association attended the American Hospital Association Annual Meeting this week in Washington D.C. The purpose of the meeting was to learn the latest developments and then advocate for policies impacting hospitals with the Oklahoma delegation. Topics of advocacy included 340B, site-neutral payment, Medicare Advantage, Rural Emergency Hospitals, workforce, and regulatory relief. The OHA representatives were able to meet with all of the Oklahoma delegation, which includes Rep. Tom Cole, Rep. Frank Lucas, Rep. Stephanie Bice, Rep. Kevin Hern, Rep. Josh Brecheen, Sen. James Lankford and Sen.  Markwayne Mullin. Attending were Dr. Ed Legako, Brent Smith, Shari Murphree, Denise Webber, Richie Splitt, Jay Johnson, Harbour Whitaker, Trent Bourland, Sandra Harrison and Patti Davis. (Sandra Harrison)
