Norman Regional Health System is meeting the needs of hungry Oklahomans in their community through several unique programs. Their food and nutrition services team partners with local agency Food & Shelter to provide freshly prepared meals throughout the year. In 2025, 22,325 meals were donated to neighbors facing hunger and housing security challenges, providing not only nourishment but also a sense of stability, support and hope.

In addition, NRHS kitchens are busy preparing meals for Meals on Wheels throughout the year, bringing nourishment and care directly to residents who might otherwise struggle to access healthy food. In 2025, they prepared and donated 59,782 meals through the program. These meals do more than fill stomachs; they allow individuals to maintain independence, health and quality of life.

At Norman Regional, these numbers are more than statistics, they represent people’s lives touched, crises averted and communities strengthened.
