2015 DSH audit requests sent

Hospitals that received Oklahoma Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments for the 2015 program year (Oct. 1, 2014 - Sep. 30, 2015) are being audited, as required by federal rules. Myers and Stauffer LC sent audit requests to these hospitals last week. Surveys and supporting documentation are to be sent to Myers and Stauffer by May 11, 2018.

In a DSH Training 2018 Update presentation, the auditors clarify some issues related to labor/delivery days and the handling of Medicaid eligible patients with private insurance. They also list common issues noted in the prior year DSH audit. The training is in the form of a presentation deck; no in-person DSH audit training was held this year.
