Join AHA social media campaign during National Hospital Week

Posted on: 5/2/18

During National Hospital Week, the American Hospital Association (AHA) will conduct a social media campaign to raise awareness of the importance of hospitals within their communities. AHA is asking member hospitals and health systems to join in this effort to help celebrate National Hospital Week and the great work that goes on every day in America’s hospitals. In particular, explain through social media how your hospital is important to the communities you serve.

Your hospital can join the campaign by sharing photos or videos with AHA highlighting the important role hospitals play in their community using the tag #MyHospital. The AHA will promote the videos during National Hospital Week, May 6-12, via the AHA’s social media platforms and featured on Advancing Health in America.

Download a sample template here. Simply use your smartphone to take a picture or create a short video of your employees and hospital leaders, sharing what your hospital means to your community. Focus on answering the question: “What does my hospital bring to my community?”
