Description:

OHA’s IP Bootcamp, is a 6-month program developed to inform and inspire infection prevention teams seeking practical and innovative approaches to building a strong and effective infection prevention program. The IP Bootcamp includes an in-person meeting, followed by four monthly webinars. Topics will include foundational aspects of an infection prevention program; conducting an infection control risk assessment, healthcare-associated infections, employee health issues and the role of the IP, and the environment and equipment, including disinfection and sterilization overview. This opportunity is funded by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), to provide workforce support for healthcare professionals, both on an ongoing basis, and in the event of an infectious outbreak or future pandemic response. There is no charge to attend the IP Bootcamp Kick-Off Meeting. A $15.00 fee is required for refreshments and lunch. Registration will include the Kick-Off Meeting and four monthly webinars.
